Missed this yesterday for some reason. I must have “j-ed” through it on Reader.
Write about a book you remember reading as a child.
Before I start my 60 seconds, I just want to say how much I’m enjoying this: a lot. For my readers, the schtick is that you get a prompt and that you only take 60 seconds to write. That’s why the entries are so short.
This is easy: everything Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote. I devoured the entire Little House series about 10,000 times. I can tell you how Almanzo’s mother made donuts. I can tell you about the pretty dress Ma wore at the party in Little House in the Big Woods and the conflict between the two Lauras.

Ditto this. I re-read the series a few years ago and they are just as good as I remembered them. Perhaps even better, because now I'm much more awed by everything these people knew how to do!
